The Right Sector movement, a radical wing of anti-government protesters in Ukraine, in connection with the release of arrested protesters from custody has declared its readiness to free Hrushevskoho Street in central Kyiv, however it reserves the right to act on its own discretion in the future, unless all criminal proceedings against activists are closed.

“Today, at our request, last hostage has been released under a court
ruling. Therefore, the Right Sector stands ready to help restore traffic
on Hrushevskoho Street,” the movement said in a statement, published on
a Facebook page of its leader Dmytro Yarosh.

At the same time, the Right Sector demanded the immediate closure of all criminal cases against protesters.

“Unless this is done as soon as possible, we reserve the right to act at our own discretion,” the statement reads.
