Activists of the Right Sector right-wing movement seized on Wednesday the Dolynsky Oil Refinery in Kirovohrad region over suspicions on the enterprise financing illegal activities in eastern Ukraine.

“The enterprise belongs to the structures of Party of Regions Deputy
Ruslan Tsyplakov, who is close to the Yanukovych family and who fled to
Moscow and whose brother Serhiy is a leader of the [self-proclaimed] Donetsk People’s Republic,” the Right Sector posted a statement on its
Web site.

According to the document, the oil refinery was taken under control
after information was received from its employees that the enterprise’s
funds were used to finance armed opponents of the authorities in eastern
Ukraine.

Tsyplakov was motor racing partner of son of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
