You're reading: Rosaviation officials arrive in Kyiv to take part in MH17 crash investigation

Moscow - Oleg Storchevoi, a deputy chief of the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation) appointed as a Russian representative to take part in an investigation into the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777's crash in Ukraine, has arrived in Kyiv along with a group of advisers, Rosaviation reported on Thursday.

“Russian specialists intend to meet with head of the investigation
commission Gijsbert Vogelaar and provide the investigation commission
with all materials that the commission head earlier asked from the
Russian side,” it said.

“The Russian mission will try to reach the Boeing 777’s crash site
today and, along with the specialists from the international
investigation commission, to analyze the condition of the aircraft’s
elements on the spot,” Rosaviation said.
