The aggressor attempts to make a look as if there is a frozen conflict in Donbas and to destabilize the situation inside Ukraine, Chief of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasyl Hrytsak said.

“The Russian aggressor has changed a tactics. Now his tactics is to make a look that the conflict in the eastern Ukraine is frozen and to do everything to destabilize the situation inside the country, to destroy our nationhood,” the SBU chief said during the events held at the SBU National Academy in Kyiv on Nov. 20, on the occasion of Day of Dignity and Freedom.

According to his reports, eleven SBU officers were killed in the eastern part of Ukraine and over 100 security officers were wounded.

“In fact, a non-declared war of Russia with Ukraine started. Almost the whole political leadership escaped, law enforcement, military leadership. The enemy annexed our Crimea, and once again, an example of the Heroes of Heavenly Hundred will be an essential for those with a strong spirits, who without hesitation rushed to the east of the country to defend a native land,” Hrytsak said.
