Militants shelled Donets on Jan. 30 killing seven of the civilians who had come to receive humanitarian aid, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) reported.

“The civilians who had come to receive humanitarian aid came under terrorist attack. At this point, we know of about seven dead, and there are injured. Reports about the number of victims of the terror attack are being verified,” the NSDC said.

Militants are thus trying to disrupt the peace talks of the Trilateral Contact Group, the NSDC said.
