Russia and Ukraine will approve a special coordination plan for ten years of socio-economic cooperation, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at a press conference after talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych.

"We have agreed to create a special coordination plan for ten years of socio-economic cooperation," the Russian leader said.

"A long-term trade cooperation plan is also needed," he added.
