Moscow - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte held a telephone conversation on Wednesday, July 23, during which they continued to exchange opinions on possible measures to help launch an impartial international inquiry into the July 17 crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine as soon as possible in accordance with the UN Security Council's Resolution 2166, adopted on July 21, the Kremlin press service has reported.

The leaders reiterated the importance of heeding the opinions of all
sides concerned and agreed to continue effective coordination by the two
countries’ Foreign Ministries and within the UN.

The telephone conversation was held at the Netherlands’ initiative.
