Militants have shelled with Grad rockets a hospital in the town of Svitlodarsk, Donetsk region, the anti-terrorist operation press center reported on Jan. 27.
The shelling occurred at around 3 p.m. on Jan. 27, he said. “There are casualties among the staff and patients, the data is being verified,” the press center said.
The town of Svitlodarsk is within the remit of the Debaltseve City Council and located about 20 kilometers northwest of Debaltseve. It is controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. In early 2013, it had a population of 12,000.
