Neither Buk system nor any other arms and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces have crossed the Russian state border at the Ukrainian section, a Russian Defense Ministry official representative told Interfax.

“It is impossible to do this secretly,” the representative said.

This also concerns another statement of official Kyiv on the detention of two “Buk system fire spotters,” who are Russian citizens, the representative said.

“We are clarifying that experts-spotters are used only for the arms systems, which have ground-based targets,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.
