Russia will take into account all possible factors in the development of its position on the legitimacy of the May 25 presidential elections in Ukraine, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov said on May, 23.
“Let’s wait for the elections. Naturally, Russia will take all factors
into account when considering this issue,” Meshkov said, responding to a
question as to whether Russia will take into account the opinion of the
OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) when
deciding on the recognition of the elections.
