Ukraine will see a reduction in the price it pays for Russian gas if it joins the Customs Union, Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's First Department of CIS Countries Mikhail Yevdokimov said at a Friday briefing in Moscow.
“This is nothing new. Export duties have been cancelled within the
Customs Union. Accordingly, the gas price will be lower,” he said.
