Salvo fire was again heard in Donetsk last night, the Donetsk City Council reported on its Web site on Wednesday morning, July 30.

“At around 10 p.m., residents of practically all districts of the city
began reporting hearing salvo fire from the village of Shyroky,” the
report says.

The situation in the city remained tense as of 9.30 a.m. Remote explosions are heard from Olenivka and the Yasynuvata post.

At the same time, the city council says the city infrastructure, including public transport, is working.

Power supply to 32 transformer substations in the Petrovsky and
Kirovsky districts of the city and residential buildings in the micro
districts of Biriuzova, Tykhy, Bryketna, and the villages of the
Trudivska and Cheliuskintsiv mines has been resumed. The micro district
Grabari in the Kuybushevky district, where 19 transformer substations
have been damaged, remain without power.
