Lawyer of Ukrainian pilot, MP Nadia Savchenko Ilya Novikov has published what he says is proof of his client's innocence on Facebook.
“According to one [telephone] number of MTS Ukraine, it turns out that at 10:44-10:36 on June 17 and later on she was near Krasnodonska Street, the separatists’ base in the former military enlistment office, where she was held prisoner until June 23,” Novikov said.
The lawyer said that artillery shelling caused the deaths of the journalists, which occurred at 11.40 a.m., therefore the accusations of the involvement of Savchenko are unfounded.
