The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) didn't make a decision on banning entry to Georgian opposition leader Nino Burjanadze, SBU Spokesman Olena Hitlianska has said.

“As of Aug. 3, 2015, the Security Service of Ukraine didn’t make any decision on banning leader of Georgia’s ‘Democratic Movement’ Nino Burjanadze from entering Ukraine,” Hitlianska said on Facebook on Aug. 3.

Earlier, a number of media reported that upon the initiative of a number of NGOs the Interior Ministry passed a request to the SBU to ban Burjanadze from entering Ukraine, due to her public statement supporting Crimea’s annexation during her visit to Moscow on July 10-11. According to the reports, the SBU banned Burjanadze’s entry in July 2015.
