You're reading: Seven BYT deputies who voted for constitutional amendments expelled from faction

Seven deputies who voted for the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine concerning the dates of the next parliamentary and presidential elections have been expelled from the BYT-Batkivschyna faction, faction member Yevhen Suslov has said.

Asked by journalists whether the deputies who voted for this issue had been expelled from the faction, he said: "Yes, they have been expelled."

The BYT-Batkivschyna faction held a meeting immediately after the vote on constitutional amendments.

Among those expelled are Oleh Babayev, Ruslan Bohdan, Anatoliy Semynoha, Anton Yatsenko, Ivan Kurovsky, Pavlo Movchan and Viktor Pavlenko. The BYT faction earlier comprised 113 deputies out of the total number of 450.
