The building of the Georgian consulate in Donetsk has been damaged by a shell, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said on Aug. 21.

According to information from the Foreign Ministry, the shell did not kill or injure anyone.

No staff or personnel were in the building as they had left the city in advance, the Foreign Ministry said.

Georgian citizens are yet again urged to refrain from trips to the regions of Ukraine where clashes are taking place, without urgent need, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
