A ship with Ukrainian and Russian crewmembers on board has struck a reef in the Aegean Sea and is currently being towed to a Romanian port, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

“Nobody was injured in the incident. All crewmembers on board the
vessel, and the company operating the ship, are now taking steps for
repair and towing operations. It will most likely be towed to a Romanian
port for repairs,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov said
at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday, July 26.

The crew consists of eight Ukrainians and two Russians, he said.

Dykusarov also said that the ship was heading from the port of
Chalkida (Greece) to a port in Romania and that it struck a reef in the
early hours of July 26 near the island of Andros (Greece).
