Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's administration has already begun work to transfer to electronic document management, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Dmitry Shymkiv said.

We’re about to go all-electronic, and transfer to the electronic processing of documents. This applies to presidential orders on core activities, instructions given by the presidential administration’s heads, inter-office memoranda, staff reports, applications from different departments, other documents different divisions exchange,” he said.

The Presidential Administration’s head signed an e-document management order on Aug. 19th, he said.

The introduction of e-document management will not only streamline personnel’s work, but will also speed up and optimize the processes of communication and decision-making, the Presidential Administration’s press service said.

Shymkiv said that the function to control how orders are fulfilled will be cancelled as it is, since endorsement of documents is no longer needed.
