You're reading: SITRONICS IT to develop video surveillance system for parliamentary elections in Ukraine

The government of Ukraine has selected SITRONICS Information Technologies, an international IT company founded on the basis of Quazar-Micro, for the creation of a video surveillance system and a system for counting votes at polling stations during the parliamentary elections in Ukraine due on October 28, 2012.

This is stipulated in instruction No. 583-r of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 20.

The government has approved the preliminary specifications and
configuration of the video surveillance system on August 8 and published
them on August 17.

SITRONICS was one of contractors for development of the video
surveillance system at polling stations during the presidential election
in Russia at the end of the previous year.

As reported, earlier the Central Election Commission estimated the
introduction of the video surveillance system at the parliamentary
elections by Hr 993.6 million.
