All utility enterprises in Mariupol (Donetsk oblast) are operating as normal, and all bomb shelters and facilities for shelter are in full readiness, the press service of the Mariupol City Council has reported.

“All utility enterprises in the city are operating normally. Planned measures are being taken to prepare for the heating season. All shelters and facilities for shelter are in full readiness. The necessary assistance is being promptly provided to the military. The distribution of food packages to displaced persons has begun. The city’s medical institutions and ambulance station are operating as usual, on around-the-clock duty. There are all the necessary medical supplies,” the city council said in a statement on Aug. 25.

Preparations for the start of the school year at educational establishments in Mariupol ended in accordance with the established terms. Police officers are patrolling the streets of the city around the clock.
