You're reading: Six Ukrainian airline employees with suspected malaria hospitalized in Kirovohrad

Kyiv, July 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Six employees of Ugra Airlines with suspected malaria have been taken to hospital in Kirovohrad, the press service of the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry's main office in Kirovohrad region has reported.

The employees were hospitalized between July 20 and July 27. Among them are two engineers aged 38 and 26, and a 44-year-old flight engineer who have returned from Congo, as well as a 33-year-old navigator and a 23-year-old flight attendant who have recently returned from Chad.

The condition of the patients is rated as moderately severe.
