The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has revoked the accreditation of British Sky News journalist Kitty Logan.

“The SBU has annulled the accreditation of Sky News journalist Kitty Logan and is now considering barring her from entering Ukraine,” SBU spokeswoman Olena Hitlianska told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday.

The SBU took the decision “in the interests of providing national security,” she said.

The British journalist “committed destructive actions aimed against Ukrainian citizens,” Hitlianska said.

The SBU spokesperson wrote on Facebook later that Logan “incited militants of the LPR [Luhansk People’s Republic] terrorist organization to shell Ukrainian military positions.”

“The Service [SBU] is checking the information posted on her page on social media of the large-scale skirmishes between the militants and Ukrainian troops prompted by her calls to open fire,” Hitlianska said.
