Sept. 19 morning was not quiet in Donetsk, says a report posted on the City Council Web site.
“Residents of the Petrovsky, Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Leninsky districts said they had heard the heavy weapons fire and explosions,” the report said.
Six power substations in the Kalninsky district had an emergency shutdown at 10.50 a.m. Power supply to four substations has been restored by now. Electric companies are carrying out repairs in the Kyivsky and Kuibyshevsky districts where five power substations were shut down due to bombardments on Thursday, Sept. 18.
