Ukraine will sign the Association Agreement with the European Union anyway even if it does not sign the document at the upcoming summit in Vilnius, Spanish Ambassador to Ukraine Gerardo Angel Bugallo Ottone has said.

“The summit in Vilnius will be a historic moment for Ukraine we are all anticipating,” the diplomat said on Wednesday at the Third Ukrainian-Spanish Journalism Forum entitled “The Media in New Europe and Ukraine, Their Role in the European Integration Process” on Wednesday, Oct.30.

The ambassador said that even if Ukraine does not fulfill all of its obligations necessary for the signing of the Association Agreement, it will carry them out in the future and will sign the document anyway.
