Washington - Washington has reacted positively to the extension of the "black list" of the European Union due to the situation in Ukraine, State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki has said.
“We certainly welcome the announcement by the Europeans on the
additional individuals,” she said at a briefing in Washington on
Tuesday, July 15.
Psaki also noted that “sectoral sanctions have remained an option”
for the United States to influence Russia due to the situation in
Ukraine.
