The ministers dismissed as a result of administrative reform could be hired by any large company, Director of the State Employment Service Volodymyr Halytsky has said.

"I am confident that organizers such as any of the ministers will be hired, and I know that these options are being discussed, by many large companies or many large employers," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Halytsky also said that the State Employment Service would promote the employment of officials from the lower ranks who were left without a job.

"We will do everything to ensure that every person who turns to us is not left without assistance and without a job," he said.

Halytsky said that as of December 1, 2010 the unemployment rate in Ukraine had declined from 9.1% to 8.5% compared to the same period last year, while the number of those employed had increased from 57.7% to 58.4%.
