The actual budget financing of the national scientific and technical space program of Ukraine in 2012 was UAH 112 million, which is 100% of the planned target, 53% up on 2011.

These estimates were announced at the space agency’s board meeting on
the performances of the national rocket and space industry in 2012 and
its tasks for 2013, Interfax-Ukraine learned at the press service of the
State Space Agency of Ukraine.

According to updated information, the volume of production and sales
of enterprises of the space sector in 2012 was UAH 4.3 billion, which is
20% up on 2011.

The share of export sales was 62%. In 2012 the space and rocket
industry exported products worth UAH 2.5 billion, which is 5% more than
in 2011.

Nearly three-quarters of exported products were rocket and space technology.

The general fund of the state budget for 2013 envisages UAH 98.63
million for the state target programs and government contracts in the
aerospace sector, including national research and technical space
program of Ukraine.

The government funding of Ukraine’s space activities in 2013 is provided at UAH 1.233 billion, which is 47% up on 2012.

In 2012, the government funding of Ukraine’s space sector was UAH 838.12 million.
