The State Tax Service (STS) of Ukraine is developing a new service for the authentication of contractors who are representatives of small and medium businesses.
The STS press service reported on Tuesday that single tax payers would now be able to check documents online.
"Any visitor to the official portal of the State Tax Service, by clicking on a respective banner, will be able to make sure that the registration documents of his potential or current partner are valid, that they were not canceled, etc," the press service said.
The STS expects that this service will be popular, because business representatives should be interested in the careful selection of contractors.
The STS noted that the tax portal currently had the audience of 360,000 authorized users. The most popular services among them are operations with a unified register of tax invoices – the receipt of a check on the debt to the budget, reports of disagreements between the issued and received invoices, etc.
As reported, the State Tax Service opened the center for certification of electronic keys on May 30, 2012. Then it started the free issue of electronic keys. During the first month of its work the center issued almost 4,900 electronic keys to taxpayers.
