It is reported that the International Monetary Fund supports the continuation of active work on a program of cooperation with Ukraine.This was the result of the consultations of the Ukrainian delegation comprising Finance Minister Fedir Yaroshenko and Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Boiko with Acting Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund John Lipsky in Washington on June 17.During the talks the parties discussed the current condition of the Ukrainian economy. In particular, Lipsky pointed out the importance of holding reforms in Ukraine to achieve the goals set in the frames of a program of cooperation with the IMF dealing with the new challenges and creating a solid foundation for sustainable economic growth.
