Svoboda all-Ukrainian Union is not planning to vacate the building of Kyiv City Administration occupied by protesters on December 1, 2013, MP Eduard Leonov has said.

“We, as an organized and disciplined political force, will fulfill any decision made by the Maidan. There is no final decision on the release of any buildings,” he told Interfax-Ukraine on Saturday.

The lawmaker said that according to information he has from Tuesday, February 18, it is predicted that the conflict will worsen, and forces located near the building of Kyiv City Administration will be moved closer to the epicenter of events – closer to Instytutska Street.

On February 17 the period set for the so-called amnesty law to take effect will expire.

Commandant of the building of Kyiv City Administration Ruslan Andriyko said that it is true that the Maidan Council supported the decision on vacating some buildings in Kyiv and the traffic area of Hrushevskoho Street in connection with the release of arrested protesters from custody.

He said that a member of the Maidan Council Ihor Lutsenko said that the building of Kyiv City Administration should not be vacated. Andriyko said that Svoboda all-Ukrainian Union will fulfill the decision of the Maidan only when the minutes of the meeting of the Maidan Council are published.
