Leader of Ukraine's Communist Party Petro Symonenko is against the signing of an association agreement between Ukraine and the EU and supports Kyiv's accession to the Customs Union.
"I responsibly state that today not this decision [to sign the Ukraine-EU association agreement] should be made. Today we should make decisions and unite with our brothers, the Slavs. We need to solve the issue of the Customs Union, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Eurasian area, the unified economic area – here is Ukraine’s way out of the problems it is currently facing," Symonenko told reporters in Kyiv on Saturday.
