Donetskoblenergo and DTEK Power Grid have repaired power lines and resumed power supply to substations feeding the Makiyivka water filtering station and the Horlivka water filtering station No 2 incapacitated by the hostilities on Sep. 14.

The DTEK press service said the operation of two largest water filtering stations in the Donetsk region had been resumed.

‘In a few hours, when reservoirs and water mains are full, drinking water supply will resume to over 600,000 people in Horlivka, Makiivka, Khartsyzsk and nearby towns,’ the report said.

The energy companies managed to make the repairs after the hostilities had stopped.
