Crimean Tatars have suggested that the priests of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyivan Patriarchate hold services in the mosques of Crimea, according to the press secretary of Kyivan Patriarchate Archbishop Evstratiy (Zoria).

“If we, our priests and congregation, aren’t be able to pray in our temples, they will give us a place in the mosques. They assured us that they will help us protect our rights and will let us into their places of worship,” Archbishop said.

According to him, two priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have already left the Crimea, but eleven more are still there. However, all the priests of the Kyivan Patriarchate have had to move their families out of the peninsula.
