Tax service: Large taxpayers in Ukraine pay Hr 90 billion to national budget in 8 months

Large taxpayers in January-August 2012 paid Hr 90 billion to the national budget, or 67% of the total budget revenues collected by the State Tax Service, the press service of the State Tax Service has reported.

The press release says, referring to statistics from the State Tax Service, that at present there are 1,382 taxpayers on the register of large taxpayers for 2012 in Ukraine.

"The 15 largest taxpayers paid Hr 40.5 billion to the budget, which is 45% of the sum paid by the large taxpayers [combined]," reads the release.

The specialized bodies of the State Tax Service for operating with large taxpayers service only 808 large taxpayers, who paid Hr 63.1 billion to the budget in January-August 2012, which is Hr 3.2 billion up year-over-year.
