You're reading: Third plane carrying air crash victims’ remains leaves Kharkiv for Eindhoven

The first of two airplanes, which are to deliver 51 containers with bodies and body parts of victims of the Malaysia Airlines passenger jet crash on Thursday, has headed from Kharkiv International Airport to Eindhoven on Thursday afternoon, July 24.

The departure of the second plane is scheduled for 1.45 p.m. local time,
said a regional spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Regional
Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities.

On July 23 two military transport aircraft delivered the bodies of 56 air crash victims from Kharkiv to Eindhoven.

The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 which was flying from Amsterdam (the
Netherlands) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) crashed in east Ukraine on July
17. All 298 people on board were killed.
