Payment of compensations to Soviet era depositors will be held until 2016, the Vice Prime Minister - Social Policy Minister Sergiy Tigipko has said. "We plan to make such payments in 2013, and in 2014, and in 2015," Tigipko said during an hour of questions to the government at the parliament's morning session on May 18.

He also said that Ukraine will increase the number of branches of the State Savings Bank of Ukraine (Oschadbank), which makes such payments, to 6,000.

According to Tigipko, the payments will be made in three ways – cash, transfer to a card or deposit.
