Vice-President of the European Parliament Gianni Pittella has said he hopes that Europe will find a way to stop anti-democratic actions by the authorities in Ukraine.
“I insist that European states and European institutions find a form how to stop these rampant anti-democratic actions. I am confident that we will definitely find such a form and certain sanctions,” he said at the national resistance headquarters in Kyiv on Saturday.
Pittella also noted that he would raise this issue in the European Parliament.
