

England fans gathered in the center of Donetsk on June 19 in support of Ukraine – by carrying a coffin. The strange prop was a reference to the words of former England captain Sol Campbell last month that fans could “come home in a coffin” because of alleged racism and violence in Ukraine. But many of those who came say they are delighted with Ukrainians’ friendliness and hospitality.
