You're reading: Trilateral Contact Group discusses cease-fire, weapons removal in Donbas

Members of the Trilateral Contact Group (Ukraine's second president Leonid Kuchma, the OSCE special envoy Heidi Tagliavini and Russia's Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov) held a working meeting on Monday to discuss the cease-fire and removal of heavy weapons in eastern Ukraine.

“During the conversation (the attendees) discussed the question of the cease-fire and removal of heavy types of weapons,” a source in the Contact Group told Interfax.

Their next meeting, in the form of a Skype conference, is due on Tuesday, March 3.
