A trilateral meeting on the incident in Troitske is scheduled to take place in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) in Soledar, Donetsk Oblast, on Oct. 9, Vladyslav Selezniov, press secretary for the Ukrainian General Staff, told Interfax-Ukraine.

“A trilateral meeting is scheduled to take place in Soledar [where the JCCC headquarters is located] at 3:00 p.m. today. It will address the incident in Troitske. The Ukrainian side is open to work on every fact,” he said on Oct. 9, assuming that one of the sides, the Donetsk People’s Republic or the Luhansk People’s Republic, will take part in the meeting in a video conference mode.

At the same time, Selezniov said he is convinced that the OSCE SMM should ensure full control over the weapons withdrawal process, both on the territories controlled by Ukraine and on the territories controlled by militia.
