Oleksandr Turchynov, Ukraine's acting president and speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, has dismissed Yuriy Ilyin from the post of head of the Ukrainian General Staff and commander-in-chief of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
A decree to this effect, which was issued on February 28, is available for viewing on the acting president’s Web site.
