Ukraine's parliamentary speaker and interim president Oleksandr Turchynov welcomes the outcome of the Geneva talks.
“Any talks are better than war. The first step has been made towards peace negotiations, after all. The Russian Federation was compelled to recognize that the seizure of premises and the armed terrorists’ actions were illegal. Time will show how sincere these statements are. Again, any talks carry a positive charge,” Turchynov said in an interview with Ukraine television, broadcast on Sunday.
