Turchynov signs bill on special status of some territories in Donbas

Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov has signed legislation on special self-government procedures in certain districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the parliamentary Web site reported on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

The bill has been sent to the president for signing it into law.
