The leaders of the Batkivschyna United Opposition, Oleksandr Turchynov and Arseniy Yatseniuk, have entered the territory of Ukrzaliznytsia's Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv to give former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko a heart-shaped bouquet of red and white roses.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that before entering the territory of the hospital, Turchynov and Yatseniuk addressed the supporters of the former prime minister.

“It’s very sad to say this, but this is the second birthday that Yulia is celebrating in prison. But we all know that the dictatorship of [President Viktor] Yanukovych is doomed [to failure], as any dictatorship destroys itself. Ukraine is already rising from its knees,” Turchynov said.

At the end of his speech white doves were released into the sky.

“Our political prisoners will be released from prison in the same way these doves are now flying into the sky,” Turchynov said.

Yatseniuk, in turn, said that he and Turchynov had managed to congratulate Tymoshenko by phone when she called Turchynov. Yatseniuk also wished Tymoshenko and her family happiness, good health, courage, luck, strength, goodwill and a common victory.

“She is a brave and strong woman. She proved that it is necessary to know how to win, and this time she will definitely win. We will win together,” he said.

At the end of Yatseniuk’s speech a banner congratulating Tymoshenko on her birthday was released into the sky. The banner was attached to a heart-shaped bunch of white and red balloons.
