Two people have been killed by mines in the village of Berestove, Artemivsk district, Donetsk region, the temporary Web site of the Donetsk Regional State Administration has reported.

“Nine people, including three children, hit mines in Artemivsk
district on Tuesday, July 29. Two adults died of the injuries. None of the
children have died,” the press service for the Donetsk Regional State
Administration reported.

According to a report posted earlier on the Donetsk Regional State
Administration’s Web site, seven people, including three children, hit
mines in Berestove.

“The youngest child is one year and two months old. All victims,
including the children, are in serious condition. Doctors are assisting
them and are fighting for their lives. No one was killed,” the report
said.

The Ukrainian interior minister’s adviser, Anton Heraschenko, said on
Tuesday explosions had injured nine children, of which one was in
critical condition.
