Zaporizhia – An experimental light aircraft crashed during test flights over an airdrome in the village of Shyroke a few kilometers away from Zaporizhia at 13:10 on Monday. Both members of the crew were killed.
According to the Emergencies Ministry, the aircraft crashed into a sunflower field some 100 meters from the runway after striking the ground with its wing during a turn.
A task force of the Emergency Situations Ministry's branch in Zaporizhia region has left for the scene. Investigators are probing the cause of the crash.
