Obolonsky district court in Kyiv on the Saturday night arrested 14 participants of the Avtomaidan anti-government car drivers' organization for two months, the press service of the UDAR party reported on Saturday.

“As it turns out our courts are working around-the-clock. They had time to consider 15 cases and keep up working ‘on other cases.’ Two people arrested on Hrushevskoho Street were punished by house arrested, 14 were arrested for two months, and a 72-year old person who attacked a Berkut officer has been placed in custody,” UDAR party leader Vitali Klitschko said.

All of the prisoners have been “beaten, their noses and heads broken,” he said.

“Today Obolonsky court is demonstrating how Yanukovych is keeping his promise to free all arrested activists,” Klitschko said.
