Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) will transfer its flights to terminal D of the Boryspil International Airport in late April 2013, First Deputy Infrastructure Minister Kostiantyn Yefymenko said at a ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of the Boryspil International Airport on Tuesday.

“We’ve reached full agreement with UIA,” he said.

As reported, referring to UIA President Yuriy Miroshnykov, who previously had not disclosed when the airline would transfer to terminal D, with the start of the summer schedule, on March 31, 2013, the airline will not transfer its flights to the new terminal.

He said that UIA in May 2013 would hardly fit terminal F due to technological, construction and other restrictions.

He also said that for UIA it is oblivious that it should move to terminal D, although there are many parameters of terminal D that are not suitable for UIA.

Earlier it was reported that the Boryspil airport intends to transfer all international flights from terminal F to terminal D before the start of the summer season.

UIA was founded in 1992. The company has been fully privatized.

Its fleet consists of 21 medium-range Boeing-737 aircraft. Its home airport is Kyiv’s Boryspil International Airport.
