Grenade launchers were used in attacks on Opytne, Novotroitske and the Butivka mine. Large-caliber machine guns were fired on Avdiyivka,” the press center said on its Facebook account.

The press center also claims that there was a shootout “with the adversary’s sabotage and reconnaissance group” near the village of Berezove.

In the Luhansk region, “illegal armed units fired mortars, grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms on Horikhove, Zhovte, Schastia, Triokhizbenka and Bolotene,” it said.

Mortars were also used in attacks on the localities of Lozove, Troitske and Novozvanivka near the city of Artemivsk. Armed clashes were reported near Novozvanivka and Nelipivka as well, the press center said.
