Ukraine boosted gas production 1.1% in January-November 2009 year-on-year to 19.413 billion cubic meters (bcm), with natural gas output rising 1.6% to 18.541 bcm, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax.

Naftogaz Ukrainy enterprises increased gas production 1% to 17.733 bcm in the period, including 17.059 bcm of natural gas, 1.7% more.

Ukrgazvydobuvannia increased output 2.7% to 13.935 bcm with natural gas output increasing 2.6% to 13.878 bcm. Ukrnafta reduced gas production 5.2% to 2.729 bcm, and reduced natural gas output 1.2% to 2.112 bcm. Chornomornaftogaz reduced gas production 3.3% to 1.069 bcm.

Ukrainian gas production in November declined 0.7% year-on-year to 1.724 bcm, including 1.648 bcm of natural gas, 0.3% less.

In 2008 Ukraine boosted gas production 1.2% to 21.014 bcm with natural gas output rising 1.7% to 19.985 bcm.
